Thomas Jefferson was in France discussing the new ways of the US. While there he was helping some of the French trying to overthrow their own government. He made it back before the French Revolution which he was appauled by the brutality and inhumane acts. John Adams was also in France representing the US on a political scale. He was doing most of his work in there government building. He had stayed until almost a year into the French Revolution. Patrick Henery was still in the US, but he didnt attend for he was convinced that the new Constitution would not uphold his standards. Instead it would be a complete failure. John Hancock was able to make a few days into the Convention, but later on had strangely became sick and was not able to continue the whole Convention process. He had tried to make it, but just couldnt take the stress. Later in 1793 he had died. His sickness is still unspecified.

Sam Adams and John Jay were not appoitned by their states to reprsent the in the Constitutional Convention. John Jay was needed to stay in New York where he was busy in New Yorks legislature. He was seperating financial and legal organizations.
